Sonic XN is officially back in development. No release date as of yet, however this is just one of many screens of a demo level being developed for the first playable demo.

The game is undergoing a complete redesign. Only a few aspects here and there are being kept (Such as Eggman's current design for the project thanks to ), however most of the original things such as various gameplay ideas that were leftovers from when the project was called Sonic Xtreme Next are being scrapped, more or less for the better, as the goal of the project has changed.

More info as it comes along.

Image is 1600x1000. Will upload smaller image later.

Halkel da Thunderhog Says:

Looks good so far.

Lightning89 Says:

Looking pretty nifty as allways, GM.

gofthick Says:

You're pouring too many polys into miscellaneous objects. Those look to be at least 5000 polys each, a ridiculous amount of polygons for something that could be replicated easily under 1000.

You've got the same problem with your eggman carrier, so many polygons that don't need to be there.

You might be lucky enough to have a computer that can run these unnecessarily large objects, but most people wont.

Great - Where can i find this game when it's done?

Gotta have crates! Crates! Crates!

Looking awesome. Sonic looks a little off though, I think the blue is too bright.
