Reya Madhu and Vincent Arrio. They should'a, would'a, couldn'ta been together forever. They were just...beautiful. In a scummy kind of way. I wish they could've gotten married and had a bunch of little red-haired babies. They wanted to.
But, no...They were separated forever and they'll never see each other again 'cause when he goes back to look for her seven years later she's been long dead of various diseases 'cause she's a whore.
(I...don't mean that as a derogatory figure of speech. I mean, Reya really is a whore. Literally.)
*SIGH*
I keep trying to write it into the story that they can see each other again, or that they'll have a kid, or he'll adopt her kid, or something.
But, NO. It doesn't work that way. XP

I know what you mean about trying to write the story one way and having it come out another. I've been having some problems with my fanfic characters that are very unfortunate for them. I just HOPE it's going to work out by the end, but I'm not sure.
