-Remastered-
I was looking through my hundreds of music files when I came across the old original mp3 of this slow metal/symphonic rock piece I made back when I was 16, and then I thought I could make something nice out of it with a little remake.
So I took the original bass, guitar and drum scores, and retouched them, adding various effects to make them more alive. I took the old midi sheet and replayed everything else on my keyboard, changing a lot the beginning, ending and middle part.
Not much, but just to help you wait for the dozen of unfinished symphonic metal pieces I have under construction ^^ (Which are WAY emotionnally stronger and instrumentally more powerful than this relaxing piece, by the way!)

On a side-note, I really LOVE the atmosphere created by the bowed pad in this... it's exactly what I was looking for, and I really want you to feel everything I have put in this piece.

This is pretty awesome, but meh, the guitar doesnt sound too good D: Unfortunately, well thats the only negative thing i see in it though,
This is musically worth a fav anyway :)

DarKsidE Says:

As you should know by now that I hate those synth guitars like hell. Gawwd, get them off me! DX *Sigh*...Ah well, on to the show. Apart from the synth guitars...everything was fine, though the drums could have been a little bit more up in the mix. I personally liked that part from 2:17 - 2:38 very much...dreamy.

In your case I would re-record it because I'm sure it would sound way better with the skills you archieved over the years. ;D

I like it, very nice piece, but I agree on the synth gitar..However, in the last part the synth guitar is not that overwelming as it is in first part..Maybe just put those in first part not that strong as it is now, and, for me, it would be..a perfect piece

Dark Knight- Sounds amazing... You did a great job Celtic Twilight...

Eric B Says:

I'm almost positive you used Guitar Pro 5's RSE generator for this one, because of the typical samples on the drums, and the guitar's distortion.

So, as you may know, or may now know, the thing's nice composition wise, but the samples/isntruments need some work.

Still good!

ShootingStar Says:

oh, love it!

AngelsDontKill Says:

Awesome composition! I hate the sound of synthetic guitars, but the fact that this was so well written made me keep listening. I personally love how it sounds around 2:17 or so. Anyway, great work!

Cyril Says:

Synth Guitars... blah blah blah, they suck. HOWEVA! I love the song itself. If you have all the right sounds and shits (and a better piano sound, no offense) this would be freakin' mind-numbingly good.

haygen2k7 Says:

wow awsome, love the sound of what seems to be a sludge metal electric guitar its awsome
