Silly Rant About Will *SPOILERS A FOOT*

First off let me just say that I am sorry that I haven’t been updating lately. I have been so busy with the week of prom and all that I just don’t have that much time. Now that prom and shit is over I should be on more.

Now that that's done, let me just say this.

Fuck you Will Turner.

You completely fucked up that movie. The whole entire movie was about you and your whiny bitch ass. Blah blah blah, nobody likes you Will. Honestly. What do you think that Elizabeth is doing during those nine years and 364 days that you are now going to be spending out at sea? I'll tell you what she is doing, tapping Jack Sparrow. Now don’t look at me and say “No she wouldn’t do that. She loves him that’s what the whole third movie was about.” The woman is a hussy. Just because she is married and has his heart doesn’t mean she is going to be faithful to him. I mean he’s Jack Sparrow. Who wouldn’t tap that? Also, do you not remember the second movie when she was totally over Jacks ass?

Which brings me to the point that they completely sidestepped Jack/Liz’s relationship all together. They were building it up so much in the second movie, and a little bit even in the first, and as it turns out its all just a ploy to have Will and Liz be mad bitches to each other in the third film. She completely ignores the fact that she had feelings for Jack at all. It was like “I love Will...and oh yeah throughout Pirates 2 I completely wanted Jacks ass but lets just ignore that part. Instead, let’s just fight throughout the entire movie and then all of a sudden during the last half hour of the film get married. Because you know it just makes sense.”

The movie was all about Will. Jack was just their on the side for comic relief. His character didn’t really develop, he didn’t really accomplish anything besides not being dead, and I don’t know I mean it was a good ending, but it just wasn’t the right ending for such an amazing character. It just didn’t fell grand enough. They were so busy introducing new characters and blowing shit up and having Will Turner prance around like the fucking elf prince that he is, that it seems like they almost completely forgot about Jack and what an amazing character that he is.

Also, if you were a main character in the second movie, but not a pirate, you died. Norrington was amazing in the second movie, and he was the main villain in the first, and for him to die like that was just horrible. He was great, he should have had a lot more screen time in this movie and he shouldn’t have died. It’s like let’s kill these characters who actually have well developed back stories and reasons for being here so we can make room for more characters who are pointless. The only people who really got development in this movie were Will, Calypso, and Davey Jones. I only like two of those people. Guess which ones?

Okay, now things I liked. Well that scene with Jack shirtless on the ship in the Locker was nice. Will becoming Davey Jones didn’t see that coming, glad he’s kind of dead. There were a lot of explosions, and the fight scenes were well choreographed. Keith Richards cameo was priceless. Jacks humor was evident and he was once again one of the only things that made that movie bearable. And Barbossa kicks ass.

Overall though the movie was really good, but in my opinion as far as getting a better feel for the characters, the second one was much better. Nothing holds a candle to the first one though.
