How do I draw dragons?

Maybe this picture should be called "How do I draw backgrounds?" At any rate, you can probably tell which part I spent the most time on.

I wanted to make some kind of picture of Rayn after he and his group killed a Wyvern on top of a mountain. He really wanted to take its head home as a trophy, but it was just too big!
