Well you might remember a while back I uploaded a sketch version of this pic. It's not changed a lot since then but it took me a while to work out the colour scheme for the new addition to the Links family. Heheh!
I've redesigned Links a lot over the years changing him from a simple Sonic world clone to a genuine fur character that I could use anywhere, hell I've even abandonned the name Prower (although I've not come up with another yet). Alindel has remained as she always has, I like her design, and has simple evolved in style as my skill as.
The third addition to this pic you won't recognise, her name is Sequin. For all intensive purposes she is Links and Alindel's daughter.
I felt that Alindel would be the type to have a child and Links (baring his occasional bad moods) would make an excellent father.
Well that's normally, in this pic the three are dipicted in the anime Magical Lyrical Girl Nanoha. Links being a mage and Alindel and Sequin being familiars, magically created beasts sworn to protect their creator.

I feel like you were overall successful in this attempt. I like Links and Alindel's designs especially (although I thought they had a son already ;D Whatever happened to him?). I think Sequin's design would have looked a bit more eye-catching had you used a different color for her clothing. Perhaps a royal blue instead with white trim and ribbons? It's just an opinion~ She still looks cute. I find her boots the best addition to her design for whatever the reason.
