I remember when I was in highschool I had to write down some music notation in 4/4.
So I just wrote down some notes, not knowing what would come out.
Well I do know now, a simpel melody, in G major, in 4/4

I actually find the melody quite classical for some reason.
So when I read about the music contest was gonna be "Classical" I started messing around with the old song I had.

I putted in some pizzicato strings (they are the bass in the song)
some piano, a flute (must be a panflute or tin wistle), and lots of strings.

I don't know if the song is classical enough, if it isn't please let me know.

Anyway I hope you enjoy!

EDIT:
I don't know what type of keyboard the Roland was, but that was the keyboard at school I used for the composing. And later I worked it out verder with my own Casio

EDIT 2:
I did re-submit the piece after some very good tips and advise
Thanks once again everyone!

It sounds like an extant variation on Beethoven's 9th (ODE TO JOY. Pretty cool.

It is classical in its own right. I would prefer a little change up
now and then to give it some more variation (like the violins
and strings can do something I call the slap back effect. It is
when two instruments are playing the same verse but they slightly
go in there own direction for a bit only to come back together
in the end for a more dramatic sound. Just a little advise
for ya if you like to try something different) but it's a good
general beat. Nice work.

Heya =) Well played and well done on your selection of sounds. Couple of hints/critique to help ya out. 1) See if you can incorporate more than two chords, say for example, you play G's and D's. C's, A Minors and even B Minors will also work well in the key of G =). 2) Is your keyboard touch sensitive? If so, try and experiment a little with varying the velocity of your touch, say for one bar hit it softly (pianissimo), then the next bar, his it hard (forte). 3) Try and enhance the melody a little more, since you have strings in the back round, that will have a knock on effect in how powerful your lead is. Try playing the melody on the high strings as well as the piano, it should make it brighter and more clear.

Hope that helps, and thanks for entering the contest! =)
