But...You Said...

My half of an art trade with ~Red-Sakura on deviantART. She said she wanted L playing "Guitar Hero", and this instantly popped into my mind.

For those who might not get this, because of differences in language, Misa had told L that the game was "sweet" using the slang meaning of "awesome", "great", "really cool". L has misinterpreted it as his meaning of what something "sweet" is, being something sugary.

I chose Misa as the one who told him this because she would be the most likely to use some sort of slang like this, and the most likely to play the game. I did consider Ryuk, as picturing him using slang like "sweet" and playing guitar hero was uber funny.

Also, lately I've been playing around with different styles of shading...I like how his hair looks here. I also did his eyes a little differently than my usual way to make him more L-like.
