Seraphim

I've been working on my character/magical creature for harry potter recently. She keeps on going through a lot of changes but I think I like this one the best so far. This is a Death/Darkness Seraphim in her savage stage.

A very rare species of witch or wizard that have special abilities that surpass that of a normal witch or wizard . There are 5 different types: Death/Darkness, Fire/Light, Air, Earth, and Water. Seraphim's look like normal people but when they unleash their powers, they transform into different creatures. There are usually 4 different forms a seraphim can take: human (obvious), normal (same personality as in their human form, just changed appearance, and increased power), savage (only occurs when one is enraged and still able to control their powers, appearance changes slightly), and feral (when the keepers unleash the binding spell and take full control over the seraphim). The Death/Darkness seraphim also has a ghost form that in this form. whatever it touches dies. Legend has it that in order for a new seraphim to be born "The couple must have the purest of hearts. If even one heart is corrupted, the new seraphim could be corrupted or not born at all." Many believe that the couple must both be pure blood (and of course, one must have seraphim blood in them), but others interpret to be just that the couple only must truly and deeply love each other, no matter what. When a seraphim is born, it is born in it's seraphim form. Because of this, no one really knows what the true appearance of a seraphim is. The mother of the child binds the child with a spell when it is born, suppressing their seraphim powers until they feel they are old enough to control them, causing the child to transform into a more human like appearance. Only the mother can unleash their child's powers when they feel it is time (since they are the only one that knows the spell, each seraphim is bound with a different spell that the mother chooses). When a seraphim's powers are unleashed for the first time, they go into the feral stage. When this happens the seraphim is usually surrounded by at least 4 people that he or she trusts. These people then have to make a new binding spell that when activated, only they can control her. These are called the keepers. In a way, these people help protect the seraphim, but in the wrong hands, they could corrupt the seraphim and make him or her do as their will, usually something the seraphim would never do on his or her own.
