I tried more realistic and paintery coloring style again, it does look different and I put effort in it. For his head at least.... I need practise.

The painting style really worked out for the man--especially his hair--but there seems to be something lacking in the white tones, especially those on the wolf. I like that the leaves add a dash of warm color.

I love the colors in this, the white tree behind the red leaves, and the combination of the red leaves and the snow look great. And as Vee said, that more painterly style works really well for the man.
