A Secret
A secret is kept
And I don’t know why
It stings me to know
That he doesn’t want me around
I should just disappear
But will he notice?
Will he care?
Should I try and see?
Or will he never come back to me?
That’s the secret
Only he knows
I want him back
But only he knows
Only he can decide
To care
To love
To notice
To want me around
That’s a secret
And only he knows

A lot of this reminds me of my last relationship, when I got dumped. I didn't know what to do... and I didn't know what she was thinking, or if I had any chance to get back with her. But it passed in time. Hang in there. As for the poem, itself, I like the structure. It's very free, but has visible style and bits and pieces of different techniques slipped in; like a poetry-quilt, almost. Not orthodox, but it reflects the emotions the writer means to pour in, which is far more valuable.
