Winter is more of Bag Boy's season. Although he hardly wears any clothing he often fits in with the harsh cold winter feelings. Most of the time he lets his body go competely numb, abling him to not focus on the aches that winter provides.

Winter is gloomy. You could consider the broken tree to be a metaphor for they way he feels right now. The small ornament being that of JC's own cross sends him a whirlwind of his own memories of being staked up. That cross is a strong symbolism to Christians.. but perhaps even stronger to those who actually felt the pain of being staked up on one.. such as Bag Boy had to endure..

BB belongs to me.

Winter is a pretty achy season.

Nice job with the picture. I could never draw trees. Dead trees in particular are always really hard for me to draw. You however have done a very nice job with the tree.

+hugs Bag Boy+

Manifesto Says:

Gah, Katie I love how you colored this one. The textures of the snow flakes, the tree trunk and the grass look so good. The shading on BB is great as it always is I like the scarf, it looks good on Bag Boy! The color brings attention to it, and the way it's flowing you can tell there's a light wind blowing. Your sorrowful expressions on Bag Boy always seem to go perfect with his pose, like you can even see it in his body language.

I love the way he looks in this one... i don't know why..

Dig the way the scarf stands out here.. and how the colour fits in with the whole "gloom" setting. Something about the way the tree and the cross are similar colors seems somehow symbollic, but.. s'probably just me. I really like the shading on him, how you made some of his joints so pronounced and hollow looking.
