Do you think watching anime is english is stupid?
Have you ever read the Naruto manga?

If you have answered "no" to all or more of these questions then...

YOU ARE TERRIBLY ILL!

If you like Naruto on American TV, deplore watching it on the internet and have never read the manga, then you are a typical American NARUTARD and you are horribly sick. You probably didn't even know this.

Narutard: a person who is so obsessed with Naruto; usually these creatures are found in North America (USA and Canada, mainly); most cases watch the dub and rarely read the manga

Being narutarded for american Naruto is unnatural and unhealthy. It stops the brain from functioning properly and causes normal people to lose all rational and sane thought.

Are you not sure if you're a Narutard? Here are a list of symptoms:

Short Term Symptoms:
1. You may go through withdrawals when taken away from a still playing episode of Naruto.
2. You yell and scream in jibberish, claiming it's Japanese, while throwing origami ninja stars at people.
3. You spin around in circles trying to copy other people using your "magical eye".
4. You wear cosplay costumes to school and pretend to actually be naruto (or Sasuke, or Kakashi, or Sakura, etc).
5. You refuse or have refused to read the manga because the anime is "so much better."
6. Possible foaming at the mouth.

Long Term Symptoms:
1. Loss of reality.
2. Loss or rational and/or sane thought.
3. Thought to be living in a ninja village.
4. Being chased by an angry mob (usually One Piece or Clamp fans).
5. You learn all of the ninjitsu handsigns.
6. Death

If you suffer from any of these symptoms, please check with your physician IMMEDIATELY. Here is a list of treatments:

Treatments:
1. Break your addiction. You're better off to just stop watching.
2. Try some other anime. Naruto might seem good, but in reality, there are animes 100 times better out there.
3. Watch it in Japanese. You'll quickly realize what Masashi Kishimoto wanted to accomplish in his manga.
4. READ THE MANGA. Filler arcs bite, admit it.
5. Death.

Please heed the warning above. It is extremely important that, if you suffer from any of the symptoms, that you cure it. BEING NARUTARDED IS NOT HEALTHY. Liking the anime/manga, however, is. There IS a difference.

You know? I really don't have anything against Naruto fans X3 But there is this one kid in school who wears his Naruto cosplay coats to school and acts like Naruto and shit. He only watched the American dub...it's REALLY sad. Felix and I were talking about this at breakfast today xD And this sorta spawned. I thought it was hilarious

lol I always thought that the people who actually watch the subbed version of Naruto who still obsess on it way too much were the ones calling themselves the Narutards.

Man, I've never been a dub hater, but after watching them claim Naruto it almost drove me nuts. They did not even molest DBZ that badly and it was so popular... *sniffle* Now Naruto is just replacement DBZ...for 5 yr olds. Makes me sad because I was in the middle on enjoying it after 3 years.

Funny stuff, btw.

I don't see why so many people hate the dub of Naruto, is VERY decent! the only notable changes I could find was.

the names of all the Jutsu being in English.
the cross Kakashi is on when he is attacked by Itachi during Itachi's first appearance is a block of wood instead.
Nose Bleeds and Raining gushing blood is lessened so they can air it on TV...



I read the manga in English in Shonen Jump magazine and watch the dub because IT WAS NOT BUTCHERED!

unlike 4Kids did to one piece >_> (THANK GOD FUNIMATION GOT IT!)

also I can't find any older Naruto episodes subbed so I kinda Have to watch the dub...


Personally, if the dub is decent I'll watch the dub... its that simple...

Probably none.
Also, right. Early episodes suck. Later episodes suck (all filler). Teh dub has began to suck much less, but it's still nowhere near the original.
