I took a great amount of effort in previous comics to make it so Dan and Geese didn't meet prior to this comic, to increase the comedic value of their eventual meeting here.
Oddly enough, because it's been so long since I wrote with Geese, I forgot the nuances of the character and just had him remind everyone that he is, in fact, American. Despite wearing clearly Japanese clothing.
