This was pretty fun to do considering I had to do it over again cause of a computer crash i had a few weeks ago. I had to actually scan the image I drew in two halves seeing how i drew it on sketch paper that was bigger than my scanner. I skipped around programs doing the coloring I used Opencanvas for some elements and Photoshop to do other other details as well such as the eyes and the cloud, the cloud was a big pain to do I tried doing something new by using the scattering brush option and then just smudging it around with the smudge tool. The border was all done in Adobe Illustrator CS. A problem i ran too going to and from Opencanvas and Photoshop is that when i did Layer groups in one program such as Photoshop and saved it and bought it into Opencanvas it did not save the layer groups and it was the same way going from Opencanvas to Photoshop. overall layerwise I had as many as 45 to 50 layers at one point.
Well anyway about the character this is Sora Naegino from the anime series Kaliedo Star which im currently watching im actually halfway into the second season of the series and its turning out to be a good series to watch.
