Okay so I haven't updated here in over a year OOPS. but just to prove how much i've improved, HERE YA GO, some extra eyecandy for the next year until I get my ass in gear and SORT IT OUT
anywhooooooo. thought it was about time to draw another fully-finished Oekaki picture, seeing how my last one was drawn waaaay back in December.
This time we have Kai (the grey wolf) and Tawreh (the blue cheetah). I've always wanted to draw these two together (Rhinne is the only one who has ever managed to do it successfully, haha) and, when I was reading the other day, I read a quote and was inspired to draw this.
"You can only fall asleep next to someone you trust completely."
Well, I trust myself.. Makes sense, yes?
I also tried a new style of shading with this picture. Instead of going from the lightest shade to the darkest I went from darkest to light, which was tonnes of fun to do - trying to see if I could stick to a form and a light source was tricky but I think I managed it alright!
