I drew this for my AP Studio Art portfolio..it's for my Area of Concentration. I did fairly quickly, but I think it came out pretty well and my teacher thinks it should be one of my quality pieces.

I used a stock photo from deviantART for reference as the dog.

I lvoe the detail that you put into the fur, it makes the animal looka s if it could jump out of your work and give you that same sad look. But why the sad look acompanied by the colors of sunset, was he abandoned by his owners, and is whining spastically while he watches their car drive down the road and eventually out of veiw?
