Finally .. finally. I've finished it.
I finished coloring this picture on October 18, 2006, and it's been sitting in my pictures folder since, awaiting a background. Since I wasn't sure how to draw a stage, I just left it there .. and let it rot. But out of nowhere tonight I felt like trying it again, and I think I rather like the results. It's very simple, but it's a start, right? .. I can't really do backgrounds, but I kinda like this one.
I also tried to give it a 'foggy' effect, like they have at concerts .. y'know, those fog machines. Not sure if it worked well or not. Suggestions?
Anyway .. this is Adaine Remir if you don't know, he's the lead singer of The Many Misfortunes, a very, very popular rock band on Luj. Infact, probably the most popular. It consists of three other members: Eddie (electric guitar), Barry (bass guitar), and Dustin (drums).
Adaine uh .. yea. He's not your typical rockstar. He's a sweetheart, but he can be quite a smart-ass. He's got such a quirky personality, I love it. He's probably one of my most favorite (if not favorite) characters that I have. He might not be as personable as Nova, Alex, and Julie to me, as I've had them a lot longer .. but I just really, really love Adaine. He's such a fun guy to play with, especially when interacting with the rest of his band.
I think this was worth the .. what, six month wait? .. the picture is a bit out-dated itself, but I'm still rather proud of how it came out. I haven't been able to draw Adaine looking this sexy since.
There is also an alternate version of this picture, with him with black hair. This was done by accident, as I was trying to see if I had gotten any color outside of the lines, and realized he's really hot with black hair. I soon discovered that Adaine can pull off nearly any hair color I slap on him very, very well. Why is this so? No one may ever know .. but he does frequently dye his hair, so that's quite possibly why. The alternate version is here ::

Constructive criticism is encouraged, I'd like to improve my backgrounds and art .. so if you have any suggestions, please let me know.

How can the score be minus one when I can't vote on it...?

The background looks good from this angle <=D I don't see why you need to add more details to it. ^ ^ I think the set of intricate metal posts are enough to catch that attention. <=D The fog effect covers nicely.

I really like how you draw shoes, I hate drawing shoes >:

Plus that background and the shading are both really cool, and so is the fog <:

The hair plus the eyes made me think it was a girl. So when I clicked on "Full Image" I thought "boobz plz".
Ignoring that, it's pretty damn funky.

As I told you, here I am leaving a better comment.
I think you did those metal thingies very well. : ] The only thing I would suggest would be to make the edges of the stage.. their outline dark grey and possibly adding a little gradient to lead to the edge.
