Nyanki They Ain't

I wanted to do one more pic of the Pizza Cat crew before I attempted anything with COLD. The penciling process took MUCH longer than it should have and I blame it all on, once again, Speedy and Guido. THE SNOUTS. Polly, Francine, SAVE ME.

I had a little difficulty with the helmets, too, but everything from the neck down is no problem for some reason. :/

Anyhow, I needed a joke. And what better one than to have the Pizza Cats egg on something from their Japanese counterparts, the Nyanki. More specifically, their little...poem, for lack of a better word, that they always recite before going into battle. Goes a little something like this...

Yattarō (Speedy): An example from a prosperous age without evil, showing justice from the heart!
Sukashii (Guido): In this way, I will pursue the shadows of evil with this handsome face!
Pururun Nyan (Polly): Despite any kind of darkness, I will show this power of love!
Yattarō: We are the disciples of justice and victory! Secret Ninja Team...
All: Nyanki!

It is pretty cool, I just can't imagine OUR cats doing such.

Well then! I've experimented with this pencil style for a few comics. It's not perfect and definetly not as good as Wil, Cailen, and Fooly's traditional media styles (Though in my defense, it HAS been just a few days opposed to their years? ), but it's gotten rave reviews. And I've drawn enough SPC characters for the time being.

I do believe, once I do a little more on other projects, I'm ready to start this bad boy up.
