Description

Hi. My name is Good Intentions Girl and I'm coming (fairly) soon to a webcomic near you!

I'm a new breed of superheroine. I fight crime non-violently. Instead of superpowers, I have good intentions and an MA in Sustainable development studies. Instead of a Batmobile, I have a tricycle, made from 100% recycled aluminium, with an organic hemp seatcover. Instead of shooting supervillians, I try to help them with a blend of homeopathy, Cognitive-Behavioural therapy and New Testament Studies.

It's kinda slow to catch on. But you'll meet the rest of the Good Intentions Gang shortly. We may not be your average superheroes and heroines, but that's good. Because we're not about just shooting a few villians, but leaving the world in the same messed-up state it was in before. Our enemies aren't evil moustache-twirling scientists, malevolent or embittered mutants wishing to wreak revenge on the world. Our enemies are cruelty, shallowness, promiscuity, materialism, violence, egotism, bigotry and the lack of signposting in Birmingham News Street station. We may not be competant. We may not have superpowers. We may not even be able to ride a bicycle. But we know something that all the other stupid kryptonite-fearing, various-radioactive-and/or-genetically-altered-animals-getting-bitten-by, gadget-using,alliteration-of-the-letter-V-overusing heroes don't know. If we love our enemies, we will defeat the most powerful, dangerous and insidious enemy of all: the lack of love in our world.

We don't need powers. We don't need gadgets. We have Good Intentions.
