Blood of the Gods: Vampire Lines
(Vampire Lines in no particular order)
Line Name/Godly Sire: Ares
Typical Appearance: The telling sign of Ares vampires is most of all that they don't breathe and they don't have pulses. They only take in air when they need to talk. Without practice, many forget to breathe in public. Standing still, they seem more like people made of wax than people made of flesh and blood.
Typical Temperament: When untrained, these vampires tend to be the most violent, ill-tempered sorts. They lust after war, and only feel satisfied in their meals if their prey fights back hard. While they don't have to kill to eat, their prey tends to end up dead because of the fighting. With training and practice, they can be some of the most cold and controlled vampires, taming their lusts to better be able to fight at the right times. They have no qualms with drinking another vampire's blood, though they do have a strong loyalty to the other vampires of their own line.
Strengths/Abilities: Super fast, super strong, and extremely focused when trained. They are fairly insensitive to pain and extremes in temperature and they heal within hours of receiving injuries if they are well fed, depending on the extent of the injury. (Bruises take less time than extreme internal bleeding or broken bones, for instance.) They cannot become invisible or teleport, but some are stealthy, and because they can run at speeds upwards of 200 miles per hour, they can seem to appear out of nowhere. Ares vampires are strong day and night. They do require sleep, two to three hours a day depending on the extent of their activities, though they are able to put off sleep and let the hours accumulate for up to about two weeks, at which point they may need to sleep for a full day to completely recover full sensory ability.
Weaknesses: The best way to kill an Ares vampire is to behead it completely. Like many vampires, Ares vampires can't recover without their heads attached to their bodies. Ares vampires also die if they do not replenish their blood or lose too much blood from injuries before they can heal. Ares vampires can tell if a person has ever intentionally injured or killed another. Those who have not are called blood innocents to them, and Ares vampires find the blood of blood innocents and herbivores (and vegetarians/vegans) poisonous to their systems. They cannot consume regular foods.
Line Name/Godly Sire: Hades
Typical Appearance: All Hades vampires are pale-skinned, with obsidian black hair and red eyes. Even those of an ethnicity where the skin wouldn't ever naturally be chalky white find that their skin gradually becomes pale over the years, though they retain the facial structure and build they had in life. Many gradually become bony thin, as well, but some make efforts to consume real food to maintain a more realistic body weight and build.
Typical Temperament: Hades vampires are drawn to the dying and recently dead because they must drink blood from them. Some act as graceful angels of death, comforting in a human's last minutes of life. Others are dark reapers, taking life from those who might have had more years left.
Strengths/Abilities: Because of their obvious appearance, they favor a state of invisibility. They can become invisible and intangible, or just invisible, or just intangible.
Weaknesses: The Hades line is most well known for being unable to drink the blood of the living. If the blood they are drinking comes from someone whose heart is still beating, it is poisonous to Hades vampires. Even if the blood was drawn from the person and is separate from him, if the person is still alive, the blood still hums with that person's life and remains poisonous.
Line Name/Godly Sire: Zeus
Typical Appearance: There isn't too much in their appearance that sets Zeus vampires off from the regular human. They even have pulses and generally need to breathe, though they can hold their breaths for hours if necessary. Once changed, a Zeus vampire reverts to his or her prime age, usually in the range of the twenties.
Typical Temperament: Zeus vampires are generally players. One may say he cares about something, but the next day he's off doing something out. They aren't dedicated, except to others of their line and their godly sire.
Strengths/Abilities: Shape-shifting is a huge plus for Zeus vampires. They can take on almost any animal form. However, they can't alter their human form or gender. What they look like is what they look like. (As an example, if a Zeus vampire is short, he can't just add a few feet onto his height with his shape-shifting ability.) Zeus vampires can build up electrical bursts and throw them. The jolts vary from hardly more than static electricity to lightning strength, depending on the focus and amount of time the vampire has to build up a charge.
Weaknesses: Because they have an electrical charge, Zeus vampires have a tendency to short out complicated electronics when they get too close. Most can't use almost anything digital, no matter how much they want to. (Cell phones and computers are, therefore, out.) Some can at least be around light bulbs without blowing them, but for the rest, candles and propane are still the lighting methods of choice. Stopping a Zeus vampire's heart or decapitating him/her is the most effective way of killing a Zeus vampire. They can also be suffocated, but as they can hold their breath for hours at a time, suffocation is a bit more difficult. Zeus vampires heal fairly quickly from anything shy of a stopped heart or decapitation.
Line Name/Godly Sire: Aphrodite
Typical Appearance: Aphrodite vampires are all extremely beautiful. Aphrodite's blood purifies flaws in skin and form and makes every single one of them thin and seemingly faultless. All Aphrodite vampires have diamond blue eyes, but this is the one part of their appearance that they can't alter at will. With practice, Aphrodite vampires can change their height, weight, facial structure, build, skin tone, ethnicity, anything. They can't change their approximate age or gender, however, and they can't take on non-human features, like wings or tails. Aphrodite's blood can't seem to effect anyone under the age of about sixteen or too much older than their mid-30s.
Typical Temperament: Aphrodite vampires tend to be either very shallow, living for the moment, or completely dedicated to one true love. There isn't much variation between the two extremes. It's the shallow ones that one should be wary of. They seduce anyone any time they wish. The ones that are dedicated to true love are protective, caring, and kind to the one they love and the ones that their love cares for.
Strengths/Abilities: Aphrodite vampires can look like anyone. They can have short blond hair one day and then ankle-length black hair the next. This ability to change their beautiful appearances to fit any situation is possibly their greatest strength. Their voices tend to be so soft and loving, almost hypnotic. A single drop of Aphrodite's blood distilled in any drink can be a powerful love potion, causing a human to fall in love with the first human or Aphrodite vampire he or she sees. The effect can only be countered with a drop of true love's blood. Even the natural scent of an Aphrodite vampire is such that it subtly and subconsciously lures humans nearer. Disease cannot effect Aphrodite vampires.
Weaknesses: When it comes to fighting, Aphrodite vampires are generally as strong as the average human. Their strength lies in appearance, scent, sound. While they can't be effected by disease, they aren't that hard to injure. Their healing time is one of the slowest among vampires, only a bit faster than the average human, so they do their best to avoid serious injury. A good drink of another vampire's blood will heal them up quickly, though.
Line Name/Godly Sire: Athena
Typical Appearance: Athena vampires aren't as flawless as most other vampires, or as obvious in their appearance. They look like regular humans, they breathe, they have pulses, can come in just about any age.
Typical Temperament: Athena vampires are seekers of wisdom. They love to make things using their own hands. They aren't necessarily violent, but they are usually strong fighters. They just prefer talking or crafty schemes before direct fighting. They also tend to love artisan crafts, like sculpting, stone carving, and sewing.
Strengths/Abilities: Athena vampires can sense the thoughts and emotions of those around them to some extent, some more than others. If they gaze deeply into the eyes of a mortal, they can drive him or her insane. They are able to become invisible and intangible, and while stronger than the average human they are not stronger or faster than Ares vampires. Some are able to look at complicated works, like computers, and know how to repair or assemble them at a glance. They heal very, very quickly.
Weaknesses: Athena vampires are, on average, physically stronger than Aphrodite vampires, but not as strong as Ares vampires. They do need to breathe and they can't hold their breaths like Zeus vampires, so quick suffocation is an option, but to ensure death, decapitation or a stab to the heart is recommended.

I look forward to seeing more of these ideas.
Will these vampires all be evil, or will they be on both sides of the moral spectrum?

This is excellent work, here, I enjoyed reading the differences between the vampires and how it would relate to real life and the Greek gods. <shrug> I suppose I'd have to read a little more into Greek mythological sense to figure out how the strengths/weaknesses were derived, but that's all other things to be picked up. For now, this has realism and a fantastical sense, which, of course, makes it all the more entertaining ^^
