A Story Of Youth
Lilies dance in the wind,
scorched by the suns rays.
Their mangled bodies tells a story;
a story of deceit and anger.
Happiness dwindled down to nothing,
an all too familiar story of youth.
Some chose to suffer and fight,
while others fade away.
Hypnotized in trends,
they don't think for themselves -
who are you?
Keep asking, you may find out some day.
Friendship comes and goes,
as does love and the change of seasons.
Most dies in the end,
only to regrow and blossom.
Midnight signals the end to the light,
a new darkness,
a new sadness.
Does it ever end?
These Lilies tell a story,
it's dear to my heart.
One every youth feels,
but one to fear ...
