A jazz piece to get my musical juices going again. I wrote the intro bassline awhile ago and never got around to doing anything else with it until last night and this morning. I still want to add a solo section, and maybe add a few more instruments. It was made with Gimpy's Quest in mind, but I dunno if it will ends up in the game or not*.
Jazz is somewhat of a minority on Sheezyart, as it is with the rest of the world. This deserves attention, due to the original bass pattern and the brass melody. It kept me listening to the end, bobbing my head to boot.
It flows nicely from the beginning to the end, and I can see a little scenario going on in my mind while listening to this. Funny, funky and intriguing atmosphere.
Sure, the sound could be better, but what impresses me is the actual progressions you've used along with the brass melodies. I really like this. It's interesting, yet not in your face. It's simple, yet effective. It's Jazz, and it's good Jazz. Well done.
