Un-named BRB mascot

This all started with a drawing of my traditional BRB drawing, of a Big Red Button on a plain metal panel. I was going to draw Shadoe or myself about to press it or staring intently at it, but I never got around to it. Why, I'm going to pretend you ask? Because I started to add things onto the button panel.

It started with a neck looking thing with some Ball-in-socket joints, like it was on a lever attatched to the wall, but I kept going. I added a weird... Tenticle/wire/moneysack thing onto it, and inside I put some jar filled with some liquid (possibly mercury). and I added legs with swivling knee and hip joints, and then a long, prehensile, tube/hose tail thing with a claw at the end. I then drew a bigger version on a separate sheet of paper, tweaked the design a bit, inked it, colored it, and drew the same machine in a couple other poses for a cute effect. Thus, my idea for a mascot for DP and my "Big Red Button" club was created.

I know, the coloring's sloppy, but I'm tired. And I was distracted by the new Class of 3000 (yay Philly Phil!). But it was a nice little peek into what my brain can do when not constrained by character design. I didn't have to give it any particular shape, I just drew. It was fun


This is for the BRB club. Anyone who is in the club may use this character, but give a little credit to me for designing it, 'kay?


Name suggestions, people? I was thinking "Buster" or "Henry" or something like that. Maybe I'll make a poll...
