What starts out as an innocent piano rendition of the worlds most popular Super Mario Theme... it develops into a big massive big band/gospel ensbemble! I'm really glad the way this one turned out, not to mention it's the most fun i've had in a while in terms of cover work. It basically builds from scratch until the end there are claps, choirs, brass stabs, right the way through to the *drum roll* last E7th ( 9/#11th) Chord with a classic big band ending!

Basically a two minute wonder (but don't let that fool you, this has quite a lot in it, more complex runs and key changes than you can shake a Goomba at). The actual theme to play on the piano is quite tricky, especially the middle section where the left hand plays triplets and the right hand is straight 4/4 >_<, so don't expect it to be note perfect (when is my stuff ever?) But it was the best I could do in the space of two hours.

Have fun listening everyone, this was certainly a joy to compose!

Thanks to all the commenters/faves/voters, it's all appreciated.

First comment on a song I love in general. This has got to be a remix I'll love forever. Fantastic! (Please do a version of the pipe song o_o)

Mercurius Says:

Oo thats nice o3o I especially love it after more instruments join in on the music 8D Great job ^^

GoroUnreal Says:

Sounds awesome, definitely the best version of this song i've heard. Still it seems to me though at the start there's a couple of times where it seems it's missing some notes? Maybe it's just me

Peachbite Says:

this is awesome -starts a conga line-

Eddsworld Says:

zololover Says:

2key Says:

yay for the brass, really fits...

the organ feels a bit out though... :(

love the string break... and the tom fill after, right before the cool choir drop...
nice jazzy ending...

really amusing song ^^

Eric B Says:

Great job again, loving the modulations and transitions used from one note to another!

Spirit Archer Says:

Innocent then PARADE. Love that beat at 2:45? I love it when I listen, then it scarily feels like I can see or feel your fingers on the board. Loved it :) It was so good! >o<

Rubbercookie Says:

Awesome, but I don't look your choice of the WRONG tone in the general theme. I bet it's there, but if it is, it is a backup of the other one. >_>
It hurts each time I hear it. The rest is the work of a supreme power. Awesome work.
