Some concept art for a project I'm working on with Growlie and some other people.
Note: This is the first time I've ever tryed drawing a girl, so that would be why it doesn't look so good, if you feel that way.
lloks great I like the design alot. Something that could be of use is looking at the silhouette your character creates. Right now alot of the cool design elements are hidden by having the gun right next to her head. By moving it over or holding it in a different way you would totally get an awesome feel for the rest of the helmet and her hair. I'd really like to hear about your project 1. because it sounds cool and I definately wanna see what ya come up with, and 2. because the type of drawings that you do to help get the project going smooth are very different for different things. And as always its always good to study anatomy more and more even after doing it for awhile you will still run into something new, because the human body is like crazy complex. But way to go, like I said love to see more and see how everything gos ^^.
Good job, she does read as a woman when you first look at her, so you pulled her off. She's carrying her weight awkwardly though. If you tilt her torso forward and have her elbow actually rest on her knee, it'll help the weight, and make the pose more dynamic.
Also, be careful not to break her shin when drawing the boots. Carry on, it'd be cool to see how things turn out on your project.
