Severe WIP

It takes five seconds for life to be... To be... To be what? Taken away? You would expect that.

In a world full of deceit, lies, death, suicide, you would expect some kind of Hollywood portrayed dramatic tragedy to unfold upon this page. I'm sorry to disappoint you sir, but that's not going to happen.

It takes five seconds for life to be turned on its head; for life to be something completely different to what you ever expected it to be. Not necessarily in a bad way, not necessarily in a good.

Politics is a fragile thing. Feminism is also fragile. When the two are combined, it doesn't always make a pretty sight. The suffragette and suffragist movements of the late 1800s and early 1900s were perfect examples of this. People died for their cause and it didn't always make a difference. Eventually in 1928 women achieved the vote. Hooray for them. It should have stopped there.

Margaret Thatcher was another prime example of women in politics. Not necessarily feminism, but definitely women. Under her rule, Britain soon became something it should never have been - a mess. Not only were her ideals mixed up beyond the point of belief, but the fact our dear Prime Minister Tony Blair continued the regime that she had in fact started sickens me to the very core of my being.

But it wasn't what either of them did that is the vocal point of this completely illegal ramble. Soon after he was taken out of power, feminism found its way into the head of politics. Britain became totalitarian. Not even a fully female feminist parliament was at the head either - die hard male feminists stood up there along with the most well known British names of modern day, and they were just as deadly as any woman with a handbag.

I apologise. My humour isn't always correctly placed.

As I said, soon after Tony Blair left Britain's proverbial throne, a feminist, almost nazistic Britain began to become.

Don't misunderstand me however. I was once a feminist too - equal rights for all mankind and all that hoo-hah - but when everything becomes monitored, right down to the food you buy over the counter, that's where I must take a stand. I'm not sure if this will reach anyone in time enough to make a difference, but I hope for the sake of Britain that it does.

I was bored in study today and couldn't revise. Since I'd done a prelim paper with feminism as the close reading subject, I thought "What would happen if a nationalist feminist party came into power?".

This is what flowed from my fingertips. I wasn't gonna post it, but Felix thought it was worthy. So here ya go. Prologue.

It's in WIP stage at the moment. I don't even have a title for it. I would LIKE to publish it, but this is a crappycrappy first draft.
