The World Upon My Shoulders

Falling to pieces
Despair all around
Darkness enshrouds
Reaching up with all my might
Holding a heavy weight
Getting heavier by the second
A glow upon my chest
Growing brighter
Bringing me to my knees
The weight still growing
The light getting brighter
Laughter all around
I smile in response
My light growing brighter
The despair disappearing
As I hold it upon my shoulders
The weight of the world.

Well this came to me as I helped out a bunch of my friends. It was just one of those times I felt I was holding the world upon my shoulders because of all the problems that are going on. Well enjoy.
