Forgotten Generations: Part 3
Chapter 3: Explanations
Later that day, when Bulma had came back from shopping, Keshia and Vegeta pulled her over for a serious talk. Keshia explained about how she had awakened in the Briefs' residence confused and unaware of the reasons to of why she was there. She also told the story of her other life at her own home. She even told them about how she had seemed to know them so well because of the TV show Dragon Ball Z. When she had finished her incredible story, she looked at both adults awaiting their replies.
Vegeta looked from the girl to his wife and then said, " What I don't get is to why this girl has almost the same sent as my daughter." his aggravated stare loosened a little in till it became a curious and slightly worried look. Then he added, " Why did she trade places with this girl?" Vegeta looked down with a depressed look on his face. " Was it my fault?"
Keshia looked at the small Saiyan in shock. She had never in her life thought that she'd ever see a look like that on his usually proud features. She was glad when Bulma wrapped an arm around her husband, trying to comfort him. " It's not your fault hun'." she whispered hoping to sooth the sad man. After a while he finally snapped back into his usual irritable mood and the conversation continued.
"Did she give you any warnings or hints about her life besides the TV show?" Bulma asked curiously.
Keshia thought about it for a while. Then something hit her. 'The Dreams! Lately I've been having dreams about her life! I thought it was just because I was obsessed, but maybe I wasn't. Maybe it was a warning.' Her thoughts were interrupted when Vegeta began drumming his fingers on the table impatiently.
" My dreams." she said simply.
Both Vegeta and Bulma looked at her words with interest. They gestured for he to continue and she obliged.
"At first the dreams were small and meaningless and could easily be forgotten. But as the years passed by they became more vivid and detailed. They seemed to cling to my mind for days at a time. I even had the visions in my day dreams. It was beginning to get out of control. I'd even talk in my sleep and have conversations with the people in my dreams out load so everyone could hear. People really thought I was a nut job."
She looked up and saw Bulma taking notes as her husband stared blankly. Then Vegeta smirked and replied, " Your are a nut case!" Then he started giggling. He stoped when Bulma hit him upside the head with her note tablet.
"What the hell was that for woman?" he asked as he rubbed his head.
" Vegeta don't you see the resemblance to your daughter? Keshia did the same thing!" Bulma said smiling at her break through. "Come down stairs with me, I want to test your DNA. "I have a hunch that yours will be very similar if not the same to his daughters' blood." she said with a smile. "Then we'll really see what's going on."
Both Keshia and Vegeta looked at her in a doubtful way. Keshia sighed and got up from the table. Bulma winked at her, then gestured her to follow her to the basement. Vegeta stayed at the table thinking about what all he had just been told. After the girls' footsteps trailed downstairs, he silently got up from his seat and went to his room to take a nap.
