Forgotten Generations: Part 2
Chapter 2: Sparing Sessions
'Oh crap! what am I going to do??? I can't fight, I don't even know how to use ki!' Keshia thought panicking. She noticed Vegeta was waiting for a reply and said the only thing that came to mind, "You're on!" She knew it was a bad decision but she didn't really have a choice.
Vegeta snickered seeing she had taken his challenge and let her go to the changing room to get ready for their sparing session. After a few minutes she was finally dressed. She walked out of the changing room and saw that Vegeta was already in the next room waiting for her. Nervously she walked into the room and what she saw surprised her.
The room was definitely not the room that she had seen from the window. It had totally changed! It looked as if she was in the mountains. 'What an awesome illusion!' Keshia thought to herself. Everything was so precise from the weather to the touch. She looked around the new habitat like a kid in a candy store. She had never seen anything like it.
'What is that damn fool doing? Is she going to fight me or not?' Vegeta thought angrily to himself. 'Come to think of it she's been acting strange all morning. Her sent seems a little bit different to. I wonder what the hell is wrong with her.' Then the prince heaved at the top of his lungs, " ARE WE GONNA' FIGHT OR NOT!!" As he hovered above her he noticed her confusion about his whereabouts. This made his brows angle lower and his frown deepen into an ugly scowl. 'I guess I will test her.'
Down below, Keshia was very confused. 'Where is he? I need to be extra precautious about this or I could end up dead.' Suddenly she had a strange feeling she was being watched. Her instincts told her to look up and she obeyed. She almost wished she hadn't looked up. Vegeta was giving her the most disgusted look she had ever seen. Apparently he'd been analyzing her actions the whole time. 'Damn he looks pissed. Does he know that I'm not the fighter he thinks I am? '
Vegeta watched as she tried to contemplate his next move, then snickered. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!" The small Saiyan shouted as his body became surrounded with Ki. Soon his hair began to stand on end and glow a powerful golden color. His facial features sharpened a bit and his eyes brightened till they turned into a bluish-green color. By then, Keshia was frozen with fear.
She stood in horror as her fears had become true. He had became a Super Saiyan. 'What am I to do now?? I can't fight a full-fledged Super Saiyan...or can I?. Then she remembered that she to was a Saiyan and even in regular form with out using ki she could very well be a force to be reckoned with. 'There's only one way to find out.' She smirked at the very thought of it.
Vegeta was amused by her sudden burst of confidence and in return gave her a smirk of his own. 'This should be interesting. That idiot isn't even bothering to use her ki.' With that last thought fresh in his mind he charged at her. His sudden rush at her made her gasp as she quickly raised her arms up to protect herself from his forceful attack. His random punches were hard and fast. Keshia could feel the want for her tears to come out but instead she kept them inside her. She did not wish to endure the embarrassment that she knew would come with them.
She closed her eyes listening to his moves while feeling the painful aftershocks they caused. Then she noticed something. There was always a little pause in-between his moves. 'He's testing me...and I'm failing.' She quickly opened her eyes and concentrated hard. Then she punched him with as much power and force as she could. The punch landed perfectly in the prince's jaw.
The prince stopped just as quickly as he began and stared at her. She felt as though he was somehow searching her soul. Then there eyes met. Vegeta's brows deepened in concentration. As she started to blink he gracefully moved a few inches from her face. When she opened her eyes she gave him an odd look because of his sudden closeness and tried to take a few steps back. Vegeta however, was way ahead of her and as if reading her thoughts he firmly grabbed her arm.
She tried to yank her arm free but had no such luck. She was now starting to think that it wasn't a dream at all. The reality of it all frightened her. She could only hope he could not sense it. He carefully pulled her arm towards him and examined it. Then he started to sniff it. Keshia cocked up an eye brow not really knowing what to say or do. Then he stopped and stared into her eyes.
"Who are you?" he asked curiously. " You have my daughter's sent but you are not the same." He seemed to be unusually patent when he said these words, witch caught her off guard. She looked down. She felt that she had betrayed him when she had pretended to be his daughter and frowned.
" I am Keshia Sullivan sir." she quietly, now trying to avoid his piercing eyes. Then she replied, "If your looking for your daughter she's in my dimension probably destroying my life and relationships with my family."
He glared at her obviously annoyed at her statement. " Why would she want to switch lives with a pathetic person as yourself?" Keshia cringed, hurt by what he had said. "Answer my question Keshia Sullivan."
She looked up and said sadly, "I don't know."
Seeing that she was telling the truth he turned away muttering something to himself. Keshia couldn't help but wonder what would be next to come.
