[NEW RELEASE]

The leader of the pack,
Strong and true
He holds his alpha head high,
Knowing another night is almost through
He lies beneath the moon,
Stares up at the sky
His dedication will always remain true.

[Poem credit to Bonnie Kriwtschenko]

A new composition based on a character theme for a friend. I've gone with the music box and french horns to dominate the piece. It's taking a Overture like structure, both introduction and ending of the same tempo, with a slower different timed middle section. I used quite a lot of my studio for this one, so it took quite a while longer to complete.

Enjoy everyone and thanks to everyone who listens/faves/votes/comments.

I can match up the words to the music in my head.

It reminds me of some game, but I can't think of which and the only one coming up is Kameo...

AngelsDontKill Says:

You're quite talented for such a great keyboardist to be able to come up with such compositions. Learning an instrument is one painful task (which of course the pain eventually goes away and it's nothing but fun), but being able to write music, play it, and record it will takes some intense skill and training!
The song has all of the perfect sounds to match themselves together.
Speaking of sounds, I had a question. Do you know of any good VST Synthesizer programs that have good settings for leads over metal songs? I am sure from listening to all of that Dream Theater and all, you'd possibly know of good sounds to play well over heavy distorted guitars? The reason I ask is because I have written out my own epic peice, which will require a good keyboard sound for leads and soloing...
If you can spare some suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated!
