Welcome to my college's latest toy: the 3D printer. The upper image is the original AutoCAD model that I illustrated probably about two years ago. I exported the solid figure as an Lithography STL file which could then be communicated to the 3D printer's software. The process time was approximately an hour. The hard part is getting the plastic off of the tray and removing the structure material.
