Dakk was interesting. I was supplied with a large amount of detail for this character as well, but he just felt so cartoony and actionish that I couldn't let him just stand there looking cool with all his equipment. He had to be DOING something. The character just EXUDES motion, even when he's not drawn moving.
Anyway, it got messy with three or four leg positions going on and his mid-riff constantly changing shape as I erased, scriblled and tried to get as much detail of all his armor I could.
Although I feel that I captured the cartooniness of the character, I failed at doing it well. The messyness of the image just detracts from what is such a fine, clean character design.
