No Inspiration

Running around in my mind
No inspiration to find
Coming up short
No thought to report
Drawing a blank
Hearing the gears clank
Not wanting to disappoint
Trying hard to think
Hoping this doesn't stink
Forgetting everything I know
Wanting just to show
Never wanting to quit
So here I sit
No inspiration to find
Just speaking my mind.

Well I wanted to write something, but I never found any inspirtion, so with a head ache and nothing to write about, this is what I came up with.

To be honest, I was just having the same problem! I really liked this poem because it conveys exactly what each writer thinks when the dreaded writers block kicks in (I'm a horrible victim at the moment) and takes over what creative juices we have left. Congrats kail, I am duly impressed.
