A (caugh) normal life (snicker) Chapter 2

Uh, ouch?" Shere scolded Hazel.
"What! He deserved it!" She replied.
"How did he 'deserve it'? You don't even know him!"
"Trust me," The black po- hedgehog said. "He deserved it." Shere just slapped him.
"Can it, uh..."
"Shadow."
"Whatever. Now Hazel, will you please explain your motives for dropping him? It is a him, right?" That last part she whispered to Shadow.
"You know, I'm actually not really sure..." Hazel cleared her throat, silencing Shadow (Yea! No more porcupine mix-up!) and began to explain her "reasons."
"He's annoying. His voice is too high. He has no clothes. He was smiling at me. He was happy. He's butt ugly. He's frEAKIN' BLUE!" Shere sweat dropped.
"What was that last one all about?" Shadow asked her, under his breath.
"Hazel's a pyro." Shere explained, not even bothering to keep her voice down. "Her name, Hazel Azara, even means Commander Fire." Shadow shrank from the glare that SHERE was being given, it was so intense. However, a noise brokeHazel's concentration.
"Oh, look, he's getting up." She announced. She then started dropping multiple acorns from the tree, onto the blue things head, once again knocking him out. Shere sighed, while Shadow looked on in amusement.
"Heh, 'Metropolitan Hero, K.O.'ed By Acorns,' I'm going to hold this against Sonic for the rest of his life!"
"Sonic, huh? Even his name is wimpier than yours. At least you've got good colors." Shadow looked up towards Hazel. "Black and red, nice, healthy colors. No freakin' blue."
"SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIC!"
"Oh please no..." Shadow muttered, seeing as Sonic was once again unconscious. Landing expertly and gracefully on the branch in front of Hazel, was a large pink being, in a red dress and hair band.
"Uh, are you a porcupine too?" Shere asked.
"No," Shadow answered, obviously exasperated. "Amy's a hedgehog, like us."
"WHERE'S MY SONIC!" She screamed. Shere and Shadow pointed down.
"OH MY GOSH! SONIC! NOOOOOOOOOOO!" Shadow sweatdropped, while Shere looked on unbelievingly, and slightly deaf from the high pitched, slightly barbie-esque voice. "ALRIGHT, WHO DID THIS!" Amy once again said in that annoying high pitched voice, while pulling out a B.A.A.H. (Big Ass Anime Hammer). Shere slowly pointed towards...
"Uh, Hazel?" Hazel was just sitting there, blinking and staring at this thing which had just invaded her personal space.
"It's...It's...Puh...puh..."
"OH, SHIMATTA!" Shere exclaimed, grabbing Shadow and rushing from the tree. He was shocked to say the least, asking, "What're yo-"
"PIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNKKKKKKKK! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
WHAM. BANG. SPLAT. CRUNCH. SQUEELSCH. THWAP. "ITAAAAIII!" CRASH.
Shere peeked out from between her fingers, and Shadow took a full ten minutes to comprehend, to see Amy's B.A.A.H. crammed all the way into her mouth, coming out, well, you know... Looking closer, you could see several deep wounds, and about two broken ribs.
"Dude..." Shadow whispered. Sonic, who was just now waking up (again) and surveying the damaged, seemed utterly lost, but somehow extremely relieved. That is, of course, until Amy began to automatically heal herself.
"Aw man, and I thought I was going to be free at last.!"
Hazel was nowhere to be found.
"Where-?" Shadow began. They followed Shere to a cathedral, one of the last in Pennsylvania, up to the front pew. She then led them up to the unused pulpit, and under the baptismal pool. Shadow looked on in curiousity, Amy in fear, Shere in exasperation, and Sonic in pure confusion, as they found her in the fetal position, rocking back and forth, whispering, "Sanctuary, sanctuary, sanctuary, sanctu-"
"What's wrong, Sonic bravely offered, as he stepped forward. Hazel looked into his eyes with pure fear in hers, then said in an unnaturaly low whisper...
"I see pink people."
