Euclith Et'al

The Euclith Et'al, or Desert Elves in our tongue, are from the harsh lands to the east. Living past the driest of deserts known to man, these elves have found a natural paradise. There lies a wide strip of cool green land around the Laethlynthas River where it is born from its womb under the cracked earth. It leads to the calm blue Memvyb Sea which cradles a rich bounty of wild fish. An endless harvest of oily fish, exotic fruits, and sweet dates year round situated that near to the equator.

Their lands are largely unknown to man due to the treacherous journey overland. Most of what is known was told by the Elves who have traveled to our lands. In order to reach Laethlynthas, one must cross a desert, over ice capped mountains and through a second desert. Once nearing the town, the Elves magical defenses will keep a man wandering until thirst withers his will. A wondrous thing it is, just as the heat plays cruel jokes on men's minds so too does the barrier that they have erected. A man can walk right to their oasis and see nothing but parched earth.

Desert Elves are well adapted for the heat. The color of sand is their hair and skin, but the piercing green eyes speak of where they have lived. Tall and lanky to expel heat while wearing clothes woven in the snows of the mountains so that always there is a residual coolness, they can endure the desert far longer than any man. If you choose to trek to their lands be sure to pay extreme reverence to any scout you happen upon for they in turn will lead you to a safe place for foreign trade and rest should they detect no malice.

I wrote more to the description, but it's far too lengthy to post. This is another bday present to a friend, . He's colorblind, but I couldn't remember what he couldn't see so I tried to avoid bright greens and reds. The actual color for them was completely red so I'm kind of unhappy I couldn't do that. I tried following a cloud tutorial and kind of just ended up doing my own thing with them in the end
