What happens when the fates are not paying attention as they disperse the elemental spirits into the world? Well...some of them end up in the wrong places. :)

I've always wanted to try one of those swirly light backgrounds that Stephanie Law does in her work. And since I didn't want to give this one a proper background, it seemed a good opportunity to try it out.
This one was really just a quickie that I finished in two nights...

I've now uploaded it to be a part of the AldoraWorld project at www.aldoraworld.com I'll be creating some other things for that site too but of course, nothing will be posted and until I get my scanner back. *le sigh*

The scales are particularly eye-catching... it's very well done~ The fins are lovely too~ ^^ It just seems like her behind is rather large for her figure~

Strawz Says:

O: Gorgeous. The swirly background turned out totally awesome. :'D

Rikki Merie Says:

I love all the motion in this piece, with the movement of her body, hair and the swirling background really gives off that feel of a flame. Also extrodinary detail in her scales.

her fins are so amazing

Jeffk38uk Says:

I love how the background forms to her in a way. Her pose also seems to conform to the swirling background. As for her, the detail on her in the lineart and shading is wonderful.
