This is my own version of the classic theme from the Gameboy, "Super Mario Land." I remember playing it years ago, since then the melody has stuck in my head (The Mario themes have just the most amazing memorable melodies)!
When I sat down thinking on what I was going to do, I decided to go for a light funk/ragtime feel to it. The drums are kept simple whilst the bass actually does more work in creating the rhythm (funk bass is just awesome to play). On that thought, I was *really* happy as to how the bass solo turned out.
