I would love to meet up with this monster in a dark alley. That would brighten my day.
Jim is a perfectionist and it shows in his work. His characters are simple but extremely polished and easy to love. The "finished" quality of all his art is something that really inspires me. Everything he creates is like a shiny new toy.

anyways this is much cuter than the worms in that movie. About as cute as a worm can get :)

none of this is meant as in insult. The two versions both have their merets, i think you should have kept the licker out line but i like that hes casting a shadow and that the green in his mough is lighter now it also might work better with out that explinations point it doesn't seem to be missed much. thats all

Nice. I think the underbelly of the creature and everything underneath it's shadow should be darker, seeing as how it's so monstrous. Otherwise, nice work.

you can't see anything wrong with it unless you're really analyzing it.
even then I can only think of two things:
1) that there should be some shadows in the face
2) the rocks along it's back tend to distract from the worm itself.

Hm...perhaps make the "2" a bit smaller/offset with the "H" and "O"?

The worm itself looks very well done. All that I think should be improved is the other characters, and some specs of the house

The H 2 O along the side seems a little flat against the incredibly roung caterpillar creature.
Like it's just sitting there, and will hover as the caterpillar moves.
