Kyo (Dir en Grey)

This is my fifth project that I actually started today. Interesting how I was actually able to finish it. O_O;; Anyway the poroject was to do a portrait of a celebrity, and since I dont really like american celebs that much I decided to do a portrait of Kyo from Dir en grey. ^^ This is his look from the Saku PV. Heehee.

This was done on an ink scratchboard. I then scratched the black off. I was going to do a stylized portrait and then I wanted to do a more realistic, but then I decided a sort of cross of the two or something. Anyway this is how it turned out.

My teacher was suprised when I told him that I had never used a scratchboard before. Haha! He told me that he felt that this was deffinately something that I should continues doing. So when I can find more scratchboard I'm deffinately going to do more of these. ^^
