=============================================

He holds me close, under the Red Sky,
my heart still beats, a tear in his eye,
He runs his finger over my cheek,
my heart still beats, yet I feel so weak.

Under the Red Sky, shots fire, people die,
my heart stills beats, my friend starts to cry.
I reach up, touch his face,
Under the Red Sky.

I see stars, but not in the sky,
I look in my friends eyes, as I start to die.
He lets me drift to the ground,
my heart still beats, under the red sky.

I drift away, eyes now closed,
I feel my friends touch, as I say goodbye,
Voices fill my mind,
As I pass under the Red Sky.

My heart slows, my mind had already died,
Yet I still feel my friend, who kisses me on the head,
As I fade... fade... fade... Then I fly...

Beyond the Red Sky.

---------------------------------------------

This was done as an attempt to convey the emotional effects of the music done in war films. Since I don't have a film to work with, I've used a poem instead to creat the scene which is happening (plus also the picture very kindly done by a friend of mine.)

Have a lot of fun listening, I enjoyed writing it. Comments/thoughts are all welcome.

As with pretty much all of your pieces, it's very nice. Very mellow, which I always love. I look forward to the day where I can compose music as good as you can.

Backwards Twin 2 Says:

I could see this being part of a soundtrack for a war movie or a death scene between two starcrossed lovers.
