"...His brilliance is almost overwhelming. It's so beautiful that I can't look away. Even if I'm burned by his intensity, or if I'm blinded by his radiance, I cannot turn away. It's like staring into the sun - for a brief moment, you know the heat and warmth of the burning golden light that gives you life - and then, you lose your sight. Maybe forever. It's too much. Far too much. But I just... can't stop watching him."
Just a little drabble I decided to come up with for my first Sheezy submission. There are some hints of shonen-ai, but they don't necessarily have to be taken that way. Roxas muses about Sora, deep within him. Originally, it was meant to have taken place back on the Destiny Islands, post-game - but then I realized that it wouldn't quite work, so the timeframe is that it takes place after Riku has re-gained his true form in The World That Never Was, but before Sora and Roxas spoke. This is... maybe my second time writing a drabble regarding Sora from Roxas' perspective. Maybe.

Only in retrospect, do I realise I wrote sexual inuendos in there without even meaning to or knowing about it...

...I don't know whether that's hillarious, clever, or just plain sad.

Beautiful. Simply beautiful. It makes me want to cry and think about the characters even more deeply.
