Actually this has bothered me a while and I thought about writing, but just recorded vocally instead.
I'm sorry if I'm not very articulate, but I just recorded this. I hope everyone can walk away from this with something, even if it's kind of short. I'm sure I'm not alone in feeling this way. Please leave a comment. :)

I'd like to see this on the front page so everyone can hear this. This is a good commentary on the system and it's abuse.

Exactly why I never use it. It's trouble with a capital T. I will not use it unless it is necsecary. I like art that takes time... Really... Those who abuse it don't know the meaning. I'm pretty sure I don't either. So I don't use it.

You go girl!!!! Wish they would just get ride of the yes/no system and have a person that would vote on front page works instead. Or keep the yes/no system only if and ONLY if they make it to where your Computer IP is blocked from voteing more then one time on a piece even by signing into a diffrent account. I think CC needs to find a group of new devoted people like you and me to take it into our own hands to go through those that are masterpieced and decide if they are good enough. I say it would work. I said this to a cast member before but i don't think they took it to heart that it could be done by people sadly.

madness i needed that......i admit i am a bit guilty of hitting the vote for no reason .....*but always in a positive light never the negative* ..... i just like to try and counter the little turds that run around hitting no cause they can so if it has a bad rating i will try and lift it.........

you know i notice there are a few people out here at sheezy who are trying to raise the standards which is good i think they need to organize a small page called 'how to use an art community'. and fill it will all these kind of pieces that can help the young un's learn how they can get more and better responses from other users, wat to do and wat not to do, advise on how to comment ......wow i seen so many.
this has been truly helpfull and def deserves a front page more peoples need to see this......

I guess the Yes/No system isn't that different to DA's frontpage thing, but at least you see pieces of different work up on SA more often - even if it's for a few minutes. I'd like the option to disable any votes like you can comments, though, as i'm getting pretty sick of the rampaging 'no'ers when your work is FP'd... it can get very disheartening after a while. I'm sure they go mental whamming the No button! Even if something is fanart it could still be, and probably is, awesome and deserves the FP, arg!
I forgot what else i was going to say now xD Still that was a nice though-out piece~
