Yeah...I did this in school today, during 4th period...at first, I just thought it was a neat-looking design, but then I realized that it's almost like a fractal. In fact, if the pattern were to be continued (with more and more squares in the upper-middle getting smaller and smaller), it would be a fractal.
Touched-up in Photoshop to increase contrast.

It DOES look kind of like a fractal, come to think of it. It has this really neat geometric look to it, and I like the all-white look of this. The neat criss-cross folds really play with your eyes a lot too. =D
