The Wedding

The psy ed teacher paced back and fourth, he felt nervous and sick in the bottom of his stomach. How was he suppose to do this? His brother got through it alright, but the person wasn't Caden. He took in a deep breath and exhiled. He could feel his fingers playing with the little black box that held the surpraise inside. He repeated everything in his head so when he asked it come out perfectly. Usually Karter never acted this way, he was always calm and knew what to do on the dot. This...this just frightened him.

He walked through the door of apartment only to be greeted by their lovely pets. Pocky raced forward and barked happily jumping up at his leg, as Domburi purred and meowed rubbing up against the other. Their newest member of the family, Ramen, perked his ears forward and wagged his tail while laying on the couch. He smiled at them and unzipped his coat before grabbing the box.

"Hey you two, did you guys miss me?" he asked as he hung his coat up, quickly shoving the box into his pocket. He kneeled down and stratched Pocky behide her flopped ears and petted Domburi with the other. Karter got up and made his way over to the kitchen, he petted Ramen quickly on the head on his way over.

"I'm guessing he isn't back from work yet huh?" he asked and snooped through the fridge in search for something to eat. In failure, he closed it. "I guess I can have a quick shower", he shurgged and walked into the bedroom. After discarding his shirt and pants. And after carefully hiding the small box in his dresser, he grabbed a towel and made his way to the washroom.

The hot water hit him and ran down his muscled tanned chest, as he leaned against the wall the coldness sent shivers up his back. He moved forward and reached out to grab the bar of soap, when he felt lengthly arms wrapped around his middle. The body pressed up against his back, he knew who it was.

"Kart-chi did you miss me?" the voice asked, the blonde released him and made his way to the front wrapping his silm arms around his waist once again and nuzzled his head into the gym teacher's chest.

His dark eyes gazed down at the figure in front of him, only to breath in the musky scent of the blonde hair, "yes I missed you very much" he replied and kissed the blonde's head. He felt even more sick inside knowing that the time was coming and soon. Just thinking about made him want to throw up or forget the whole thing and call it off. No, he couldn't. Not now, and not after he got this far. He sneered at his thoughts and wrapped his muscled arms around the thin body.

Caden just nuzzled closer and kissed his chest softly. He loved this feeling more then anything, Nothing could make him feel more warm and safe then being in his lovers arms, He looked up at him and grinned reaching up and kissed him, nibbling on his lip before pulling away.

He grinned a bit and leaned down and kissed his neck. "How was work?" he asked and pulled away and looked down at him with his dark eyes. He knew Caden had to go to the unversity to teach, because he lied about being sick. But the lie was slowly turing into the truth. A week before he had made the decision he told the principal about it and she agreed to keep it a sercet. So for the whole day when Caden thought he was sick, he was actually planning everything out.

After unwrapping the towel, revealing boxers underneath he fell back on the bed. Groaning slightly, he really did feel sick, but it was now or never. He got up sending Caden, who cuddle up to him rolling over onto the floor. Karter made his way over to the dresser and opened it, "Caden?" he said, his voice sounded shaky, why would it sound any different. His hands shook nervously as he held the little box in his hands.

The blonde sat up on the bed and watched. He titled his head to the side and blinked slightly confused. "Yes Kart-teme?" he asked and crawled over to the edge of the bed. He reached out and tugged at his boxers, "What's the matter?" he asked softly.

Karter took in a deep breath, this had been what he was waiting for, and now that it was time he wasn't sure. He turned around and held the box in his left hand. Taking in another breath he kneeled down on one knee and looked at up at him. "Caden...", he paused what was he suppose to say next? Damnit he had run through this line many times wanting it just right. "Caden...?" he asked.

Caden leaned in a bit so their faces were close, "Yes Kart-rin?" he asked and turned his gaze to the box that he held.

"It's been a year since you started living here and," he paused and took in a deep gulp, this was it the moment he had been preparing for, "and will you stay here with me?" he asked quickly and opened the box, he shut eyes and turned his face away. He didn't want to see the reaction, what if he laughed, or cried and ran away like he did once before because he was getting to close. "Know what? just forget it" he said and got up quickly before the blonde could respond. He turned his back to him feeling embrssed.

Caden giggled and smiled at him, he got up and wrapped his arms around the muscled man. He reached and grabbed the box from him and unwrapped his arms from around him. "Silly Kart-chan" he said and stepped back holding both arms behide his back.

Karter turned around and looked at him, raising an eye. What was he doing?. The gym teacher looked at him, everything was on quiet. His breathing slowled down a bit and the sick feeling he had, now had gone away.

"Of course I will" he said and took a step forward, looking up at him with his bright blue eyes. He held the box out to Karter, and smiled softly. He had wanted the same thing once before, but never thought it would actually happen.

He blinked and looked down at him. Slowly taking the box gently in his grip he opened it and took out the small plain like ring that was inside. Taking the chem's teacher hand lightly he slipped it on his ring finger, after that he reached up gripping his chin gently and leaned in. "I love you" he said and kissed him firmly on the lips.

Caden pulled his hand back and wrapped his arms around his neck, kissing him back. He didn't care about the ring, or about anything at this point. He was happier then he had ever felt in his life. He pulled away and looked at him, eyes brimming with tears of joy. "I love you too" he said tired hard to smile while keeping the tears back.

Karter leaned his forhead against his softly and grinned. He held him close, never wanting to let him go. "Now we have a wedding to plan" he whispered and locked their gazes together. He couldn't think of anyone else he would rather spend his life with, then with Caden. And he couldn't wait for the rest of his life, knowing that he would be there, beside him, through thick and thin, and never leave.
