When last we were there
Alone just us two
Looking at the beach
The waves coming in
We stared from the cliff
Embraced in your wings
With you in my own
Longingly kissing
Alone from the world
You turned heading back
Distraught with this pain
Your tears falling down
Our families refuse
A future entwined
Together as one
They will not allow
My heart has shattered
No will to repair
We leapt off the edge
Hand in hand to death
Our wings tucked away
Flight not taken up
The final embrace
Wished never to end
Our last kiss split up
Resting forever
Atop broken wings

I wrote this during french class one day while I was really bored..but I think it turned out OK so why not share
I really like this. It has a kind of Romeo and Juliet feel to it. Kind of only. It has a more original feel that than as well. I love wings so it has a symbol in it that I enjoy a lot.
