a Timber Wolf Gazing at something near its enclosure, gorgeous animals but being hunted to extinction by man kind
The domestic dog is direct descendant from the wolf and was first domesticated about 12,000 years ago by various Indian tribes throughout the world.
Wolves communicate with each other through a series of tail and body postures, many of which are still innate in domestic dogs.
Wolves are generally portrayed as animals of evil, many of us will have been brought up on fairytales such as the Three Little Pigs and Little Red Riding Hood. However, the reality is that wolves are extremely secretive animals and will avoid contact with humans at all costs.

Gorgeous shot! Wolves are my second favorite animal and it pains me that they're so misunderstood.
