I am new to surrealism, but I still don't mind honest criticism. I know my submission is far from perfect, but I still wanted to upload it and see what others think and where they see I really need to improve.

Chiisuchina Mizuno Says:

I don't really do the surreal thing, so I won't be able to really give constructive criticism, but as a casual observer, I think this is really neat. It's like a dark fairy tale photographed or something. It's a little racy, but not inappropriately so. The eyes in the little mushrooms kinda make me think and wonder as to their purpose, what they do, if they're even really mushrooms.

As an observer and an artist, I like it a lot.

Pink Lady Says:

this is really nice, I like it very much. The manipulation is great.

ZiggyBuggy Says:

Very nice, almost reminds me of Pink Floyd. The mushroomy colours are great, and work well, although a little splash of colour somewhere, wouldn't go amiss in my opinion. Perhaps in the eyes of the mushrooms? I think they'd be great in a sort of amber-yellow colour.

Also, I like the idea of the roots, but I feel she could blend into them more. So the roots go into her legs and she's "rooted" to the ground (hahahahah. Bad, bad pun). The bottoms of the mushrooms need to belnd in more too. I'd suggest using the smudge tool to make the bottom of them become roots, too, and therefore blend in.

Overall, very nice, I like it! With a few improvements it could be perfect! I love the sereneness, by the way.

Rdraconis Says:

Heh, I know nothing about surrealism so I can't help you.
But it looks really awesome- has a nice feel to it. ^^
