This is the cover to the second edition of "Heart of Courage - Book One of the Narscix War", and the book should be out early 2007. I'll have more specific info later.
I am dead tired.
This is 324 layers, and the original image is 2,538 px by 3,600 px, and 194 MB. Why so many layers you ask? Because I'm insane, that's why. But let me tell you, having every little thing on a seperate layer comes in handy later on down the road when you decide you want to change it.
I lost track of how many hours this took, but it's taken me over the past month to paint via Photoshop (which started to complain furiously near the end due to the file size...). The semi-annoying thing is that I've been at this so long that my painting skills actually evolved throughout the course of things, and I had to go back and do some touch ups.
But hey. Doesn't that title look hot? Vivid light for teh winz.

It'll be on sale like in bookstores and such? Or special orders? From what I've read from some of your other pictures it sounds magnificent. Or at least I was drawn in from the little exerpts :3
