...I was supposed to put vocals on this piece... but since my microphone's low qhality would rather have scrapped it, I decided not to...
Even though the synth choir I used is far from sounding like a real choir, I think its sound was just perfect to add the mystic feeling of sacred lands to the piece...
Also my first time at trying to incorporate drums (and making them sound good... which was not really a success...)
And did you notice it was less of a timing oddity?? That's because I just discovered acid's metronome function...
Also please keep in mind that orchestrated/celtic/epic music is a brand new territory for me. ^^
Special thanks to Fox Amoore for his advice of playing the main piano melody an octave higher, worked out nicely for this piece!

Tranquil Waters Says:

love it the drums can improve, but you already said that yourself :)

Fox Amoore Says:

Well done. The melody is much more clear now, to the point where I can enjoy both the notes you've used, plus also the choice of chords used with the strings and choirs. Good job on the break section just after 1 minute. I really quite liked the rhythm section, there isn't a lot in it, but the simplicity works. Ooooh, the tubular bells were a nice touch as well. Overall, this is one of my favourite pieces I've heard from you. Very well done.

Fox Amoore. :3

Fitos Says:

Ah... yes... I can see that the music competition of mine will be VERY good.

The only thing I would change is the techno feeling of the bass/drum. But... nothing else would I change

Good job.

Weelow Says:

This was friggin sweet dude! I totaly love this kind of music =D

Notesurfer Says:

First off let me say that I definitely enjoyed the composition. The melodies flow easily with the accompaniment and are actually interesting to listen to. That said, the drums are rhythmically accurate, but there are definitely better samples out there. The only other thing I have to say is that I definitely would have enjoyed hearing some lyrics of some kind over this - it would make it slightly less repetitive.

Good job, congrats on the feature.
